Community Learning Center (CLC)

| Purpose:To use videos and computers to teach A.I.D.S. prevention, skill transfer, bookkeeping, health, marketing. To connect people who are working on answers in Kenya and in the USA.

How it is now: Three expeditions have traveled to Matunda to help with this
learning center. Currently, the CLC has it's own power source. Several computers were repaired during the last
expedition, and computer classes have been set up. There are also picture books available for neighborhood children
to read and look at.

Classes currently taught at the Community Learning Center:
- AIDS Prevention for Adults
- AIDS Prevention for Children
- Book Keeping
- Literacy
- Computer Skills

Future of the CLC: All One People and FAVO have many ideas of other functions which the Community Learning Center could serve. The goal of the CLC is to teach marketable skills to help students/people help themselves. It will be a circle of service. People will come to be instructed, and instead of paying a fee, give back to the Community Learning Center to help others.
