| Much of the work in beautifying this Day Care center took place during the 2005 Expedition. The two expeditions in
2004 worked on creating a stable structure for the Day Care children to meet in. The 2005 Expedition continued this
work by adding on a water storage tank so the children can have access to fresh water during the school day. |
|
The 2005 expeditioners also installed windows and doors in the DayCare Center. This way the orphans could store
their benches in the school rather than storing them in the kitchen building.
Before the expedition, the teachers were using a plain cement wall on which to write and use as a chalkboard. The
expeditioners worked and painted a beautiful chalkboard wall complete with numbers and letters for teaching and
visual aids. |
