A Brief History of All One People

All One People was Organized in 1997. These are the articles of Incorparation that were drafted by the original Board of Directors.

In 2001 Catherine and Richard Armstrong went to Matunda, Kenya, to help establish a partnership with F.A.V.O.

  • In the Spring of 2004 the first expedition team (eight members) was sent to Matunda to help out several of FAVO's projects.
  • The second expedition team of four members soon followed in the Summer of 2004
  • In 2005 seven expenditions traveled to Kenya and continued the work.

The first major fundraiser was in September of 2003 when the First Annual Fun Run fund raiser was held. Since then, in 2004 and 2005 other Fun Runs were held.

Towards the end of 2005, Fred and Joan Johnson traveled to Kenya to check on the progress of projects with FAVO and look for future contacts/projects for All One People. The board decided All One People would concentrate its efforts on helping the Lillywhite Educational Center, an orphan's home/school.
